Limiting Exposure

Only students and staff will be allowed inside the school building. Staff and children should wear face coverings within the facility. Classrooms will be smaller

in size and will include the same group of children each day with the same teacher. All special events such as birthday celebrations, festivals, and holiday

events are cancelled until further notice

Increased Hand Hygiene Practices

Upon entering the classroom all children must wash their hands or use a hand sanitizer. Children and staff will practice hand hygiene by

disinfecting/washing hands to prevent the spread of germs at the following times:

Upon entering the classroom

Before and after eating or handling food

Before and after the use of the bathroom

Before and after playing outdoors

After coming in contact with bodily fluid

Cleanliness - Our Priority!

Staff will clean, sanitize, and disinfect classroom each morning, during naptime, and at close of each day. Staff will pay special attention to toys, furniture,

and frequently touched surfaces. Staff will clean and disinfect playground after each group visit. Cleaning personnel will clean and disinfect common areas

each evening

Allergies/Medical Conditions

If your child has a known allergy please be sure to note it on the registration form. For your child’s safety, we must be made aware of ALL HEALTH

CONDITIONS that could result in an emergency situation such as allergic reactions to foods, allergic reactions to insect bites, asthma, seizures, etc.

Illnesses/Accidents

If your child is sick, please keep them at home. Small children transfer germs easily and illness can spread rapidly from child to child. If a child should exhibit

any characteristics of illness after the beginning of the day, the teacher will document symptoms and the parent will be notified. If the child is exhibiting one

or more of the below mentioned symptoms, the parent will be notified and expected to pick-up the child with-in one hour: Fever of 100 or higher; Excessive

coughing; Vomiting; Diarrhea.

Please note, your child is expected to stay home until symptom free for 72 hours. Also, if your child has any of the following communicative diseases, they

must be kept at home until released to return to school by their pediatrician: Covid-19; Lice; Pink Eye/Conjunctivitis; Rash; Chicken Pox; etc.

Medication

No medication shall be given by child care personnel without the signed permission of the parent using the “Authorization for Prescription and Non-

Prescription Medication” from. All Prescription medication must be in the original container with the child’s name on it. Non- Prescription medication will

only be dispensed if brought in by the parent and the above authorization form is completed.

First Aid Kits are available in each classroom. All topical antiseptics, insect repellant, sunscreen, and other skin preparations may be applied only with prior

medical authorization.
